Military support is important to both Dr. Cavey and his wife, Sara, as they both come from military families. Dr. Cavey’s father served in the U.S. Air Force and Sara’s father served in the U.S. Navy.
Sara stated, “The U.S. military supports and defends our country every single day. It is an honor to care for patients that served our nation and also to be part of Sky Ball. It is a small way to give back to the men and women who keep this country strong.”
SKY BALL XXII
The Airpower Foundation is a nationwide non-profit dedicated to supporting our nation’s military, children who have lost a parent in war, wounded service members and their families. The Airpower Foundation hosts Sky Ball every year as their primary fundraiser.
The Airpower Foundation will hold Sky Ball XXII, “Mission in Action,” on November 21st, 2024. The event takes place in Arlington, TX, at Globe Life Field.
Sky Ball raises more than $27 million supporting programs that directly impact active duty military, veterans, and their families.
